Kura is a stool made of solid scented cedar wood worked from a single block, whose shape is a re-enactment of a horse saddle, hence the meaning of the name in Japanese.
This product is made from completely natural, hand-finished solid wood without the addition of any toxic treatments. Any movements, cracks and changes in the appearance of the wood are intrinsic characteristics of these items and result from the natural settlement and diverse environmental conditions of the wood. Natural cedar wood can be used outdoor. When exposed to outdoor weather, cedar wood color turns to a silver shade of gray.
