Born in Portugal in 1977, this designer's journey began with an Industrial Design degree from E.S.A.D., C.R. in 2000. He further honed his expertise through continuous learning, mastering various software, processes, and technologies across furniture, stone, metal, ceramic, and glass.
From 2000 to 2002, he balanced teaching in high schools with freelance design work. He then spent five years, from 2002 to 2007, as part of design teams within various companies, specializing primarily in injected plastics technologies.
In 2007, he co-founded Diwiz, a product design company where he has since applied his diverse skills to a wide range of products—from housewares and kitchenware to home, garden, and office furniture, as well as consumer electronics and industrial tools. Deepening his academic pursuits, he completed a Master of Art & Design for the Public Space at F.B.A., U.P., in 2017, focusing his research on the intriguing theme of Time in public spaces.
His innovative product designs and installations have earned recognition and been showcased in numerous exhibitions and competitions across global cities including Lisbon, Barcelona, New York, Paris, Edmonton, and Tokyo. His work consistently demonstrates a profound understanding of both the conceptual and technical contexts of each project.
