Djembé Ceiling

The Djembé Ceiling is a bell-shaped LED ceiling light designed by Joan Gaspar to be like the echo of a drum. The Djembé ceiling lamps are designed for repetition, creating musical compositions of light on the ceiling. A ceiling fixture with an exposed interior, Djembé is available in numerous sizes and bright, airy colors that can be used individually or combined to create a deliberate statement.

A rotomolding technique allowed the designer to give the fixture very different interiors and exteriors: its outside recalls the texture of stone, conveying a perception of great weight emphasized by its volume. The spacious interior is a smooth, white surface for the reflection of light. Djembé is a lamp designed for use in public spaces, bringing beauty and a high quality of light.

The fixtures are dimmable, and canopy accessories allow two or three fixtures to be grouped from a single ceiling point. The collection also includes a larger version, which can be fitted with an optional PET acoustic accessory for sound damping in a space. A 3000K light source is available upon request.

Shade made of bi-injected rotary molded polyethylene: stone texture on the outer part and smooth satin white on the inner part of the fixture. Diffuser in lacquered grey aluminum.
