Oldowan II Coffee Table

The Oldowan II Coffee Table is conceived as a sculptural object defined by mass, balance, and elemental form. Its asymmetrical silhouette draws from early lithic structures, where function emerges directly from material and gesture.

The table is made from mineral resin composite and hand-finished to achieve the depth, texture, and visual weight of natural limestone. Each piece is produced through a controlled casting process, ensuring consistency in form while preserving a tactile, stone-like surface.

Formed as a continuous volume, the table rests on two monolithic supports—one compressed and grounded, the other more upright—creating a subtle tension across its span. The gently concave waist and softened perimeter introduce a controlled fluidity, allowing the piece to read differently from every angle while maintaining a strong architectural presence.
